My name is Nazira Baimuldinova, and I represent an initiative from Kazakhstan focused on the development of advanced carbon materials and the sustainable use of mineral resources, in particular natural graphite and other critical minerals.

We are currently developing a project concept on graphite and other strategically important minerals and are seeking scientific and technological solutions for their advanced processing into high-value products, such as graphene, graphene oxide, and functional materials for energy applications. We are especially interested in collaborating with European research centers and industrial partners with expertise in raw material characterization, beneficiation technologies, functionalization, and applications of critical minerals.

Our goal in participating in Horizon Europe 2026 is to integrate into international consortia and jointly develop sustainable, economically viable, and environmentally safe technologies across the full value chain—from studying the properties of critical minerals to creating prototypes and pilot solutions.

We see Horizon Europe as a platform to gain scientific knowledge, exchange best practices, and build long-term partnerships that will transform the regional resource potential into modern products for energy, green technologies, and the circular economy.
