Beyond the Horizon ISSG

Beyond the Horizon (BtH) is an independent next-generation think & do tank in Belgium. BtH aims to promote glocal (global & local) peace and security by its strong in-house capacity and extensive network of partners throughout the world.

Its activities include:

• Research & Analysis – It empowers decision and policymakers and practitioners with data-driven & evidence-based research and analysis.

• Monitor – It keeps a watchful eye on the globe and crisis zones to bring emerging critical issues to the attention of professionals and the general public.

• Forum – It serves as a forum for debate on its focus areas by organising different kinds of events.

• Training & consultancy – It provides world-class training and consultancy services based on its focus areas through Horizon Global Academy.

• Projects – It develops and employs innovative and sustainable solutions by making a combination of research, innovation and action projects in collaboration with selected partners.

• Digital solutions – With its in-house capacity Horizon Lab, it transforms its deliverables into data-driven products and enable its activities with digital tools and solutions including Artificial Intelligence.
