ELEC is a department at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels. Research at ELEC is both applied and more fundamental. Theoretic work aims at characterizing complex engineering systems via machine learning and system identification methodology. Our department combines domain-specific engineering knowledge with expertise in machine learning and system identification to obtain application-specific cutting-edge models.
