Identity management systems

I am responsible for Research and Development at DEDEM SpA, an Italian technology company specialized in biometric image acquisition systems and ID photo enrollment solutions deployed across large-scale unattended infrastructures.

Our R&D activities focus on secure image acquisition, biometric quality assessment, fraud detection (including morphing and deepfake detection), identity management systems, and secure digital service integration. Our solutions are widely used in regulated environments requiring compliance with international standards for identity document issuance.

We are actively seeking partners to build a consortium for participation in upcoming Horizon Europe calls, particularly in topics related to , document fraud prevention, biometric identity verification, and secure identity management. We are interested in collaborating with research institutions, technology providers, public authorities, and industrial partners to develop innovative, scalable, and secure identity enrollment and verification solutions.

DEDEM SpA can contribute with expertise in biometric capture systems, AI-based image analysis, embedded systems, large-scale deployment of unattended devices, and secure infrastructure integration.
