Bondalti Water can contribute as an industrial R&I partner to develop and validate high-risk/high-return renewable fuel concepts based on biogenic residues and side-streams available in water and wastewater infrastructures, aligned with the topic’s scope on fuels production systems and its requirement to demonstrate feasibility at TRL 4–5. We can provide access to operational water/wastewater treatment contexts and real feedstocks (e.g., wastewater sludges, digestate, organic residuals), supporting resource availability assessment, feedstock characterisation, and treatment/pre-processing from the design stage, as explicitly expected for bioenergy/biofuel concepts.

We bring engineering and innovation capability to: design and integrate conversion and upgrading trains; develop monitoring and data-driven optimisation (process analytics, predictive modelling) to improve yields and robustness; and deliver TEA/LCA plus environmental risk/mitigation focusing on resource efficiency (including water footprint), pollution and biodiversity impacts, and pathways for social acceptance and policy alignment.
