RINA – Centro Sviluppo Materiali (CSM) is the legal entity inside the RINA Group devoted to applied research in the field of material and process development, including digital aspects. We have a long and consolidated track record in European R&I programmes, including Horizon Europe. We are actively seeking consortia and partners for upcoming Horizon Europe Cluster 4 calls . RINA-CSM combines AI research, system engineering and applied experimentation, supporting projects across the full innovation cycle, from conceptual research to validation in realistic settings. We regularly act as technical partner or coordinator in EU projects, contributing to scientific excellence, integration of complex AI systems, and strong alignment with European research and policy priorities.

Our interest is strongly aligned with the ADRA Strategic Research, Innovation and Deployment Agenda (SRIDA), with a focus on advancing trustworthy, human‑centric and autonomous AI systems and their integration into complex industrial environments.

We can contribute covering the following topics:

• Advanced AI architectures and methods (Agentic AI and autonomous decision‑making systems, Multimodal AI, Generative AI, Hybrid AI

• **Trustworthy and human‑centric AI (**Explainability, transparency and robustness of AI systems, Human–AI interaction, decision support and shared autonomy, validation and assessment methodologies for trustworthy AI)

• **Data, sensing and perception (**Advanced sensor integration and perception pipelines supporting AI reasoning, Data analytics and learning from heterogeneous, distributed and dynamic data sources)

• **Robotics and autonomous systems (**AI‑enabled autonomy, perception and control, Cognitive and adaptive behaviours in complex environments, Integration of AI, data and robotics in end‑to‑end systems)

• **System integration and large‑scale experimentation (**Integration of AI components into scalable, interoperable systems, Design and execution of pilots, demonstrations and experimental scenarios, Contribution to open platforms, reference architectures and reusable assets)
