WHAT WE OFFER

Vuola Consulting SL is a Spanish SME specialising in applied AI, product development and user-centred innovation for European R&D projects. We help consortia bridge the gap between research and real-world adoption: from problem discovery and product definition through validation, TRL assessment and exploitation.

We contribute in four integrated areas:

1. Applied AI & technical contribution
Applied AI, human-AI collaboration and intelligent components, with a registered PIC and the ability to take a defined technical role within the consortium.

2. Product strategy & discovery
Problem discovery, stakeholder research, Voice of Customer, business and process analysis, use-case definition, requirements, roadmap and product strategy validated with end users.

3. Validation & TRL
PoC definition, user validation, evidence-based technology-readiness assessment and alignment between technical development, operational needs and adoption.

4. Exploitation & adoption
Exploitation strategy, route-to-market, governance and alignment between research outputs, users and business needs.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

RIVER: Horizon Europe / RFCS Clean Steel Partnership
RIVER is an 11-partner European consortium coordinated by CELSA Group. Vuola’s senior product lead designed the RIVER Product Engine and Dual-Track Agile framework, covering governance, use-case definition, product discovery and the path from pilot to production. The framework was adopted by the consortium at kick-off and presented at ESTEP 2026.

INTECMED: ENI CBC Med
Senior experience in an EU-funded innovation programme focused on technology transfer, incubation and commercialisation. Alan Menk designed the evaluation approach for innovative startup proposals and participated in selecting startups receiving programme support, alongside TRL, PoC and commercialisation activities.

smartCARE: EU4Health
Senior product experience in a 41-organisation European digital-health consortium, including user research, requirements, validation and platform adoption across four countries.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are interested in European R&D consortia, particularly Horizon Europe and Digital Europe projects, where applied AI, product development, user validation, TRL assessment or exploitation require a dedicated technical/product partner.

We are particularly interested in Applied AI, Human-AI collaboration, Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial AI, Digital Twins and AI-enabled products.

We work alongside research organisations, RTOs, industry partners, coordinators and R&D&I consultancies, contributing a defined technical/product role without overlapping the coordinator’s responsibilities.
