Türksat Satellite Communications Cable TV and Operation Inc. is one of the world's leading satellite operators, providing all types of satellite communications via Türksat satellites and other satellites. Türksat, which holds the rights, management, and operating authority over satellite orbital positions within national sovereignty, establishes, operates, and engages in commercial activities for communications infrastructures via satellites belonging to national and international satellite operators. Türksat provides telecommunications services across a wide geography extending from Asia and Africa through its satellites. In addition to direct TV broadcasts, rural telephone communications, emergency communications, international telephone communications, and corporate network services provided via satellites, Türksat also provides digital cable TV and broadband internet services to domestic subscribers through its cable platform. Türksat also undertakes the technical infrastructure of the e-Government Gateway and its integration with public institutions, and pioneers the effective use of our satellites through numerous new projects, particularly broadband VSAT projects.
