About me
Strane Innovation is a French non-profit SME with experience in more than 30 EU projects, often as WP leader.
One of our expertise areas is Ecosystem services evaluation & valuation:

Biophysical modelling: Spatially explicit modelling of ecosystem service flows (e.g., carbon sequestration, habitat quality, crop production), aligned with MAES standards to evaluate ecosystem services provided by NBS or demonstrate the environmental benefits of restoration scenarios.

Economic valuation: Translating biophysical gains into monetary terms (e.g., €/ha/year), compliant with SEEA-EA standards to provide a monetary value to ecosystem services or restoration interventions.

Social valuation: Assessing, mapping, and quantifying the perceived social value of ecosystem services (e.g., recreation, cultural and aesthetics benefits).

Trade-offs analysis: Identifying spatial hotspots, synergies, and trade-offs between social, economic and environmental goals using cost-benefit analysis and multi-criteria decision analysis.
