Photonics project proposal (HORIZON-CL4-2025-04-DIGITAL-EMERGING-01)
Program Manager at Fraunhofer Institute for Microelectronic Circuits and Systems IMS
Duisburg, Germany
About
We are currently preparing a proposal for the Photonics Partnership HEU call HORIZON-CL4-2025-04-DIGITAL-EMERGING-01 to promote novel photonic integrated circuits (PICs) as the core of a next-generation multimodal sensing platform.
Potential use cases include robotics for smart farming, industrial automation and healthcare, although others are possible.
For the consortium, we are looking for:
-
Industrial partners with robotics expertise for real-world testing and pilot applications, e.g., in-situ diagnostics, inline quality control, or precision agriculture.
-
Technology developers and providers specializing in photonics components, optical systems, sensor integration, or embedded systems and AI.
-
Research institutions or innovative companies with a focus on photonics, spectroscopy, laser speckle technology, etc. for foundational research and validation.
Topic
- HORIZON-CL4-2025-04-DIGITAL-EMERGING-01: Advanced sensor technologies and multimodal sensor integration for multiple application domains
