Qtechnology

Qtechnology traces its origins to the late 1990s, when embedded vision systems for optical sorting and grading of vegetables were first developed in collaboration with the Newtec Group.

In 2007, Qtechnology A/S was established as a subsidiary of the Newtec Group. Since then, the company has focused on designing and manufacturing custom industrial cameras with integrated image processing - commonly referred to as industrial smart cameras.

By processing images directly on the camera, these systems eliminate the need for external hardware, reducing latency and meeting the high-throughput demands of modern industrial applications. Qtechnology offers a portfolio of modular smart camera platforms with integrated CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs, as well as Edge AI processing, compatible with a wide range of sensor heads, including CCD, CMOS, scientific CMOS, thermal microbolometers, and multi- or hyperspectral imaging solutions.
