About

By combining NIR spectroscopy and hyperspectral imaging (HSI), we help assess food quality, composition, and authenticity in a fast and non-destructive way. We use advanced sensing technologies together with chemometric and machine learning models to obtain reliable and useful results.

We work across the full process, from experimental design and data acquisition to model development and validation under real conditions.

Our work focuses on practical applications such as fraud detection, process monitoring, and rapid estimation of key quality parameters. We make sure the models can be used across different instruments and conditions, and can be transferred from NIR systems to hyperspectral imaging without starting from scratch.

We collaborate with companies to explore how these technologies can be applied and to evaluate their performance in relevant scenarios.

This helps companies better understand their products and improve how they monitor quality and processes.
