Terms and Conditions

1. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Participants may cancel their registration in writing (e.g., by email) up to seven (7) days before the event start date and will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than seven (7) days before the event are not eligible for a refund. Refunds will be processed within 30 days after the event date via the original payment method.

2. Changes to the Event

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program, schedule, venue, speakers, or activities if required for organizational or unforeseen reasons. Participants will be notified promptly in the event of significant changes.

3. Event Cancellation or Postponement

If the event is canceled or postponed due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control), participants will be informed as soon as possible. In such cases, participants will have the choice between:

  • a full refund, or

  • transferring their registration to a rescheduled date, if available.

The organizer is not liable for any resulting costs, including travel or accommodation expenses.

4. Liability

The organizer is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during participation in the CEE-Swiss IT-Solutions & Cross-Cultural Talent Summit 2025, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Swiss law. Participants are responsible for their own safety and belongings. Travel and accommodation costs will not be reimbursed under any circumstances.

5. Data Protection

Personal data collected during registration will be used solely for the organization and execution of the event. Data will not be shared with third parties except where necessary for event operations (e.g., event management systems, security procedures). All data is processed in accordance with applicable Swiss data protection laws.

6. Force Majeure

The organizer shall not be held liable for failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations due to events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, strikes, epidemics/pandemics, government actions, or comparable incidents. In such cases, the principles described in Section 3 apply.

7. Consent to Image and Media Use

By registering for this event, participants acknowledge and agree that photos or videos may be taken during the CEE-Swiss IT-Solutions & Cross-Cultural Talent Summit 2025.
These may be used for communication purposes of the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland – Central Europe (SEC), including but not limited to newsletters, websites, and social media channels. No rights or compensation may be derived from this consent.
Participants who do not wish to appear in photos or videos are kindly requested to inform the organizer in writing before the event.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Canton of Zurich, Switzerland.

9. Agreement to Terms

By registering for the CEE-Swiss IT-Solutions & Cross-Cultural Talent Summit 2025, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
