The DUTH Hydraulic Engineering Sector focuses on research and innovation in water-related engineering systems, covering fluid mechanics, experimental and computational hydraulics, environmental hydraulics, hydrology, and water resources management, as well as hydraulic, hydronomic, and environmental infrastructure.
The Laboratory of Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering conducts research in fluid mechanics, experimental and computational hydraulics, environmental hydraulics, water quality, sanitary engineering, water and wastewater treatment technologies, natural treatment systems, and aquatic ecology and ecosystems.
The Laboratory of Hydrology and Hydraulic Works focuses on hydrology, water resources management, river hydraulics, hydraulic and irrigation works, land reclamation projects, hydraulic machinery and energy, and the analysis and design of hydraulic structures.
