About
I am a researcher holding a PhD in Maritime Business from Dokuz Eylul University, seeking project-based cooperation specifically under HORIZON-CL6-2026-02-CLIMATE, with international universities, research organizations, and industry partners active in transport and logistics decarbonisation.
My core research expertise focuses on maritime and port-related decarbonisation, including shipping and port–hinterland emissions, maritime supply chain management, and freight markets, and data-driven analysis of transport systems. My work particularly addresses GHG emission mapping, scenario-based modelling of decarbonisation pathways, and the assessment of policy and investment impacts in maritime transport and logistics networks.
I am especially interested in contributing to projects that develop integrated approaches for reducing emissions in shipping and port-related activities, including multimodal transport interfaces, digital decision-support tools, and evidence-based strategies supporting the transition towards climate-neutral maritime transport systems.
Within Horizon Europe or similar international R&I frameworks, I can contribute to:
empirical and econometric analysis of shipping and logistics markets,
development of emission indicators and modelling frameworks,
design of policy-relevant scenarios and impact assessments,
leadership or co-leadership of work packages,
scientific writing, dissemination, and stakeholder engagement activities.
I am particularly keen to collaborate in interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral consortia that connect academia, industry stakeholders, ports, logistics operators, and policy actors. My objective is to support high-impact research outcomes and practically applicable solutions for maritime transport decarbonisation, while building long-term international research partnerships aligned with EU climate and transport policy goals.
