Looking Consortium interested in African contexts and/or sustainable healthy food topics

I am interested in collaborating on Horizon Europe Cluster 6 projects that address challenges related to sustainable food systems, nutrition, consumer behaviour, and food environments. My expertise lies in agricultural and food economics, with a strong focus on behavioural economics, experimental methods, and evidence-based policy analysis.

I contribute to projects through two complementary research lines. First, I conduct systematic and scoping reviews to synthesise existing economic and interdisciplinary evidence, identify knowledge gaps, and support the conceptual and empirical framing of research and policy interventions. These reviews follow rigorous and transparent methodologies and are designed to inform both scientific analysis and policy decision-making.

Second, I lead and coordinated the implementation of field and laboratory experiments in European and African contexts (Healthydiets4Africa) to analyse individual and collective decision-making related to food choices, diet quality, and sustainability outcomes. These experiments combine controlled designs with real-world settings to examine how cognitive biases, social norms, information, and institutional environments influence behaviour. The results are used to evaluate policy instruments, behavioural interventions, and market-based solutions.

I am particularly interested in cooperating with multidisciplinary consortia working on topics such as healthy and sustainable diets, food environment interventions, consumer engagement, digital and behavioural policy tools, and the evaluation of public policies under real-world conditions. I can contribute to work packages related to experimental design, impact assessment, behavioural insights, and policy analysis.
