EnerG

ENERG is an innovative project aimed at bringing zero-emission, autonomous robotics into high-value agriculture. The project evolves an existing fully electric agricultural machine into a smart, autonomous robot by integrating advanced Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) capabilities with a Decision Support System supported by satellite navigation and Earth-observation data.

By combining precise GNSS positioning, Earth-observation–based agronomic insights and onboard sensors, ENERG enables adaptive mission planning and safe autonomous operations in complex agricultural environments such as horticulture and orchards. The platform is designed to work with a wide range of implements, allowing multiple tasks to be carried out efficiently while minimising soil compaction, energy consumption and environmental impact.

ENERG addresses key challenges faced by farmers and agricultural service providers, including labour shortages, rising operational costs and increasing sustainability requirements. The solution supports flexible business models, including Robot-as-a-Service, and aims to improve productivity, safety and resilience while contributing to climate-neutral and digital agriculture in Europe.
