Experts in Empowering Dietary Shifts using Systems Approaches

Researcher in Food and Nutrition at University of Gothenburg

Gothenburg, Sweden

About

We are a multidisciplinary research group specialising in food-related learning, sustainable dietary transitions, and systems approaches to behaviour change. Our work examines how individuals and communities learn about food within complex social, cultural, and environmental systems. We bring expertise in food literacy, sustainability pedagogy, citizen engagement, co-creation, and policy-relevant research.

We contribute to Horizon Europe Cluster 6 projects by:

  • Designing and evaluating interventions that empower citizens to adopt healthier and more sustainable diets

  • Applying systems thinking and mixed-methods research to analyse food environments and leverage points for change

  • Developing innovative educational frameworks, digital and participatory learning tools, and community-based approaches

  • Supporting policy learning, stakeholder engagement, and evidence synthesis for food system transformation

We welcome collaboration with consortia seeking partners who integrate social science, learning processes, and systems innovation to support sustainable food futures.
