About
Calibration-Driven Data Governance for Horizon Europe Cluster 6
I am interested in establishing project cooperation under Horizon Europe Cluster 6, focused on integrating calibrated measurements, measurement uncertainty and traceability into data governance frameworks for bioeconomy, agriculture, natural resources and environmental policy.
Concrete role in a Horizon Europe consortium
I can contribute as:
-
WP contributor or WP leader on data governance, indicators and monitoring frameworks
-
Responsible for the integration of measurement uncertainty in environmental and agri-food datasets
-
Contributor to policy uptake, impact assessment and governance deliverables (Deliverables & Milestones)
-
Bridge between technical data generation and policy-facing outputs, ensuring scientific robustness and policy relevance.
Methodological and conceptual contribution
Building on the NPUL (National Product Uncertainty Loss) model, my approach integrates measurement uncertainty and calibration principles into policy-relevant indicators, enabling more robust, transparent and auditable decision-making. This perspective is particularly relevant for Cluster 6 actions addressing governance, monitoring frameworks, impact assessment and evidence-based policy design.
Expected contribution to Cluster 6 projects
-
Integrate metrology and measurement uncertainty into data-driven decision-making
-
Strengthen the reliability and comparability of environmental, biodiversity and bioeconomy indicators
-
Support evidence-based policy design aligned with the EU Green Deal and sustainability objectives
-
Enhance trust, transparency and robustness of AI-supported governance and monitoring tools
I can contribute across work packages related to data governance, monitoring frameworks, impact assessment and cross-cutting methodological tasks.
Cooperation sought
I am seeking cooperation with research institutes, universities, public authorities, SMEs and policy-oriented consortia interested in strengthening the scientific integrity and governance robustness of data infrastructures underpinning Europe’s sustainability transitions.
