Hybrid Constructed Wetlands for Circular and Climate-Resilient Water Systems
Postdoctoral Researcher at Centre of Research and Technology Hellas
Thessaloniki, Greece
About
We are preparing a Horizon Europe RIA focused on developing, monitoring, modelling, and scaling a portfolio of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) that enhance water resilience, climate adaptation, and circularity. The project combines complementary NbS addressing different parts of the urban and peri-urban water cycle. We integrate high-resolution monitoring (in-situ sensors, UAV, and super-resolved EO imagery), process-aware modelling, and targeted experimental innovation to understand how these NbS perform under real and future climatic conditions. We seek partners with expertise in NbS design and operation, sensor development, EO/SR analytics, climate modelling, circularity assessment, and public authorities interested in hosting pilot sites.
