What we can do:

Collection of the informative and innovation-related needs of agriculture operators, consultants and expert agronomists and technicians, researchers through a validated qualitative protocol aimed at

a.        Defining the archetypes of Akis actors and users;

b.        Defining their routines, operations, and perceived bottlenecks in terms of data availability, data shareability, data distribution and the like;

c.        Defining the blueprint of an open, federated and AI-based architecture to provide differentiated access to relevant information and data where needed and on a timely base, with tools and use cases that consider the constraints and use practices of the diverse actors, aimed at capitalizing the existing knowledge in the system;

d.        Developing a strategy for the involvement of communities of practice in the AKIS Veneto.

The research unit can contribute by

1.        Replicating the protocol of analysis and assessment in other contexts;

2.        Training analysts in order to replicate and scale up in Europe the protocol of analysis and co-design of the solutions;

3.        Participate in the definition of ontologies and in the architecture of user-friendly, agentic platforms (no coding or tech development: we possess competences in the definition of the architecture specificities, flowcharts and logics).

The team can mobilize the support of various stakeholders in the Region such as

1.        The regional administration

2.        The regional special organization for innovation in agriculture (Veneto AGricoltura)

3.        Trade associations (associations of agricultural firms, CIA and Confagricoltura)

4.        EIP and more generally communities of experts and operators/entrepreneurs

5.        Tech providers and IT consulting organisations.
