HORIZON-CL6-2026-03-GOVERNANCE-09: Increasing knowledge flows to practice within AKIS via EU thematic knowledge hubs

Innovation and Knowledge transfer manager at The Galician Enterprise-University Foundation (FEUGA)

Vigo, Spain

About

We could cover several parts of the topic as we are doing in other UE projects:

      ·     offer services that enhance networking, cross fertilization and knowledge exchange between the different AKIS actors[1], to stimulate dialogue on innovative solutions and initiatives, to build relations and support mutual learning across the EU;

      ·     actively involve advisors in knowledge hubs and mobilise relevant AKIS actors (including the AKIS coordination bodies) and actions at European/ national/regional levels to support the implementation of the knowledge and solutions in practice across the EU

Therefore, we can contribute to many of the methodological aspects of the topic and also with the operational, depending on how you have built the proposal concept:

  • Facilitate participatory processes connecting different stakeholders: farmers, industry, advisors, AKIS coordination bodies, policy actors.; design and deliver capacity-building pathways that will enhance farmers, advisors' competences, knowledge and skills: i.e. dialogues/round tables for discussion, workshops for identification of constrains, training sessions, others

  • Operalization of Communities of Practice (or analogues) and cross-country exchanges, ensuring fluid/smooth interaction and knowledge transfer/flow across Member States.

  • Organization a wide range of events: small-scale participatory workshops and larger conferences. We can  design and implement interactive formats—such as role games, guided discussions, and co-creation exercises—that foster active engagement of different stakeholders. At regional, national and EU level, we have successfully coordinated events (all process: design, logistics, communication) that combine knowledge sharing, networking and capacity building

  • Support the effective communication, dissemination and ensure the uptake of practice-oriented knowledge generated by the project

  • Fostering synergies with other EU projects, EIP-AGRI operational groups projects (we are partners in many OGs in agriculture sector) and Erasmus+ projects and  to LLL in agriculture, including education and training systems

What we can also specifically offer:

Regional Contact Point providing connections with Galician organizations (university, industry, public authorities, others)

Pilot / demo ecosystem building in our region: support to identify, test, and scale up innovative solutions/technologies and demonstrate their potential in real-life pilot environments

Participatory processes for societal engagement and co-creation, connecting academia, industry, end users, and policy actors by dedicated innovation-based methodologies (multi-actor approach, societal readiness and multi-stakeholder engagement)
