CL6-2026-03-GOVERNANCE-10 -Training, Knowledge & Technology Transfer

European Project Manager at French Chambers of Agriculture

Paris, France

About

The Chambers of Agriculture are present across the entire national territory, including regions facing specific environmental conditions. This enables the Chambers of Agriculture to facilitate the implementation, capitalisation and dissemination and the transfer of innovative solutions generated by European R&I projects towards farmers, territories and rural actors.

For example, we could support the large-scale adoption of sustainable agricultural innovations through structured peer-to-peer learning, on-farm demonstrations. The close connection with farmers and advisors enables us to identify innovative practices with high potential, test them under real farm conditions, and share evidence-based lessons with a broad community of practitioners and stakeholders.

Some activities that we can develop:

  • Organise Farm demonstrations

  • Design and facilitate peer-to-peer learning formats (field days, farmer-to-farmer exchanges, small group visits, living labs) that encourage open discussion on practical implementation, risks and success factors

  • Communicate, Disseminate and Valorize concrete results

  • Document and translate the results into user-friendly tools (practice abstracts, factsheets, short videos, decision-support materials) to feed Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS) and support advisory services

  • Engage with advisory organisations, policymakers and value-chain actors to ensure that the knowledge generated by demonstrations and peer learning informs advisory services.
