About
Potential tasks of CNTA as key PARTNER:
1.Support the establishment of a microbiome R&I hub (resource centre + monitoring body) by providing expertise on microbiomes in food, fermentation, safety, nutrition, and bioprocesses.
2.Mapping EU microbiome projects, infrastructures, and initiatives
o Systematic review and classification of past and ongoing microbiome projects (food, agriculture, environment, health).
oAssess synergies, and missing research areas, especially those relevant to food, biotechnology, digital tools, or industrial scale-up.
oMap the industrial infrastructure (SMEs, biobanks, pilot plants, omics platforms).
3.Monitoring and assessing microbiome research impact
oCo-developing impact indicators for food-system microbiome innovations
oIntegrating data analytics and AI tools to systematically track trends, gaps, and research outcomes in alignment with EU One Health priorities.
