HORIZON-CL6-2026-01-CIRCBIO-11 Harnessing the unique properties of marine organisms to deliver sustainable blue bio-based products
Phd., EU Programmes Manager at AITEX
Alcoy, Spain
About
Marine-derived bio-based ingredients (e.g., seaweed polysaccharides, pigments, bioactives) will be developed into safe & sustainable solutions for textile finishes/coatings and cosmetic formulations, using green bioprocessing and SSbD, while tackling safety/efficacy/regulatory bottlenecks and ensuring biodiversity-friendly sourcing. Partners sought: marine biotech/biorefining, sustainable biomass suppliers, SSbD/LCA/toxicology-regulatory, and textile/cosmetics industry for pilots and scale-up.
