Advanced Genetic & Digital Tools for Climate-Resilient Tree Crops

This cooperation opportunity aims to establish a strong international consortium for a Horizon Europe proposal under the topic “Accelerating the development of breeding tools for perennial crops, specifically fruit and nut trees.”

The project focuses on designing, integrating, and validating innovative breeding technologies that will significantly reduce the long breeding cycles of perennial crops and improve climate resilience. Target species include a broad range of fruit and nut trees impacted by heat, drought, emerging pests, and changing environmental conditions.
