Researcher, Project Manager at Ellinogermaniki Agogi, Research & Development Department

About
DELISH-CO aims to transform the prevention of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs)—including cardiovascular diseases (CVD)—through digital tools that promote healthy, sustainable, and equitable dietary habits across the life course, with a special focus on childhood obesity. Building on WHO’s alarming evidence that childhood overweight and obesity continue to rise and drive early-onset diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular diseases, DIONICs combines nutrition science, behavioural insights, digital innovation, and sustainability metrics to deliver personalised, culturally relevant dietary guidance.
The project develops a next-generation digital platform integrating AI-powered dietary assessment, sustainability scoring, and adaptive coaching to support families, children, adolescents, and adults in making healthier and environmentally conscious food choices. Multi-country living labs will ensure co-creation with households, schools, clinicians, policymakers, and food system actors.
