Digital for Planet brings together talented minds specialised in engineering, IT, sustainability, law & policy, citizen science, broader SSH, communication & dissemination, and more. OUR VISION: A world where sustainable and ethical digital technologies empower humanity to protect and regenerate the environment, while driving sustainable societal and economic progress for all.

OUR MISSION: To advance environmental protection and regeneration while advancing equitable progress through sustainable and ethical digital technologies. This is achieved by deepening the understanding of the complex relationships within digital sustainability, accelerating responsible digital solution development and adoption, and growing a collaborative multi-actor ecosystem.

OUR OBJECTIVES: Advance Research and Knowledge: Develop and disseminate research on digital sustainability, exploring the complex relationships between technology, environment, and social progress. Accelerate Innovative Solutions: Support and catalyse the development of ethical digital technologies that address environmental and social challenges through targeted programs and resources. Build Awareness and Capacity: Design information campaigns to enhance understanding of digital sustainability and build skills and mobilise resources towards responsible digital innovation. Foster Collaborative Ecosystems: Create and strengthen a large network of diverse stakeholders to enable cross-sector collaboration and knowledge sharing in sustainable digital technologies. Influence Policy and Advocacy: Engage with policymakers and stakeholders to promote and develop guidelines for sustainable and ethical digital transformation.
