About me
I joined Digital for Planet in January 2024 as a Sustainability Expert. With a PhD in Law from Sciences Po Paris, I am an EU & international economic law and corporate generalist with strong expertise in Business & Sustainability, CSR, and Web3 regulation (AI, data, cybersecurity, etc.). Before growing into an engaged legal, policy & sustainability expert, I worked at the Brussels office of a leading British corporate law firm, served as Deputy Financial Director in energy trading, later dealt with sustainability at the United Nations in Geneva, and spent 10 years in academia, having held positions from PhD candidate to a tenured Associate Professor, before transitioning to the non-profit sector, focusing on corporate sustainability, climate change, and, ultimately, digital sustainability. At D4P, I work on forward-looking strategies for digital sustainability and play the role of an analyst of evolving EU law & policy landscapes and of a legal generalist. I lead a Cluster 6 project on environmental compliance and work on 5 other EU projects at the interface of sustainability, law, and innovation. I am also an active and successful researcher who authored two books and countless peer-reviewed articles, case notes, blog posts, etc. at the intersections of law, society, sustainability, and emerging technologies.
