About me
Obtained the European PhD title in Technologic, Comparative and Molecular Genetics in September 2020 from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro. He has also a Master degree in Technologic, Comparative and Molecular Genetics in 2010 and his Bachelor in Biology in 2006, both from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro. He is currently Assistant Researcher at AQUAVALOR – Centro de Valorização e Transferência de Tecnologia da Água (CoLAB). He has published 32 articles in specialized journals, 3 book chapters and 96 communications in scientific conferences. He participated in the organization of 4 scientific events. Supervised 3 final works for graduation courses and co-supervised 3. He has received 2 prizes and/or honors. Research fellow in four projects. He works in the areas of Agrarian Sciences and Natural Sciences with emphasis on Agriculture, Plant Production and Protection, Molecular Biology and Microbiology. In his professional activities, he has registered an international mobility to the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), interacted with several collaborators and coauthors of scientific works, his scientific publications have more than 715 citations and has an h-índex of 16.
