Global Factor is an international group specialized in providing global, innovative and sustainable solutions in areas such as climate change, energy, sustainability, circular economy and trading. Some of the main clients are the World Bank Group (WB), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the European Commission, (EC), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), the French Development Agency (AFD), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and several regional and local governments, of developed and developing countries, among others. Factor has experience in delivering consulting services in diverse fields of action in the area of mitigation and adaption to climate change, circular economy and green/climate finance, particularly in the promotion of low-carbon and green growth development incorporating circular economy and low emissions approaches across different sectors such as waste, energy, LULUCF, industry (oil&gas, cement, paper, steel, construction, among others); and providing advisory services to government bodies in different fields related to sustainability with a focus on circular economy, energy and resource efficiency and waste management. I have more than 25 years of work experience in food sector in which I have proven to be a dynamic and proactive person. Actually I am R&D Manager at Global Factor an international organization focused on clima action and sustainability. Consultant R&D at Zabala for 3 years..
Manager of Sensory & Consumer Sciences Laboratory at AZTI for 6 years.
PhD in Predictive Microbiology and Consumer´s Sciences by the Basque Country University.
Master degree in Marketing by Faculty of Economics and Business Studies (UPV, 2000).

✔I have been involved in R&D&I ACTIVITIES AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER to the food industry for 25 years.

✔Strong experience in PREPARATION OF PROPOSAL and PROJECT MANAGER role under Horizon Europe, H2020 and 7th Framework.

✔Involved in projects by EIT Food, a European Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) connecting consumers with businesses, start-ups, researchers and students from around Europe.

✔Experience in SENSORY AND CONSUMER RESEARCH for Product Development: sensory perception of food related to food processing techniques; food shelf-life; relationship between sensory and instrumental measurements; sensory evaluation of food formulations for specific consumer targets (obese and overweight consumers, children, elderly people, and chronic patients).

✔PROFESSOR IN SEVERAL MASTERS, Master in “Food Safety” .University Complutense of Madrid. Lecture: Predictive microbiology. Madrid, Spain.( 2013-present)/Master in “Management and development of food industry”. (University of Oviedo). Lecture: “Food quality and safety management”.University of Oviedo, ,Spain. Period: (2010-present).

✔I have international research experience through periods of visit in UK and Sweden, participation in EU-projects and international food and sensory organizations (European Sensory Science Society, E3S, European Association for Food Safety, and the SAFE consortium).
