I represent the European Rural Development Network. We focus on socio-economic research on rural development, agriculture, bioeconomy food systems.

My organisation

The European Rural Development Network (ERDN) is an international research association (NGO) based in Poland. Established in 2002, the Network is meant to encompass the leading research centres and stimulate their joint works on the state and paths of the transformation of rural areas in Europe, and in particular in its central, eastern and south-eastern countries. Most of the ERDN researchers are social scientists covering different areas of socio-economic analysis of rural development, agriculture and food systems. As a member of the numerous international consortia implementing EU co-financed projects we developed an expertise on multi-actor approach and have a vast network of agri- and rural stakeholders in central and eastern Europe where we can support project communication, dissemination and exploitation activities. Currently we are member of several Horizon Europe projects including ESIRA, GRANULAR, Tools4CAP, SOILSCAPE, SOILTRIBES, LandShift, thERBN, INSPIRE, RIBES and Vision4FOOD.
