About me

I got my PhD in Ecology and Evolution at Helsinki, Finland, where I worked for about 20 years, primarily in urban ecological research, in collaboration with the municipalities of the capital region. I have been in Lodz since 2021, mainly doing ecological research and looking for opportunities to develop collaboration with municipal partners. I am an active member of the Eurasian Dry Grassland Group, a network of researchers and stakeholders involved in the conservation of grasslnad biodiversity. I am also a memb er of the Policy Committee of the Society for Conservation Biology Europe.

Our team also works with molecular DNA research, such as metabarcoding. We also have expertize in urban governance, remote-sensing and economics, amongst other topics.
