The Molecular Biotechnology Group at Ilia State University (Georgia) is interested in joining Horizon Europe consortia under BIODIV-06.

Our expertise includes:

  • DNA markers and molecular characterization of crop genetic resources

  • Agrobiodiversity and wheat genetic resources

  • PCR and multiplex PCR method development

  • Food authenticity and traceability

  • GMO and allergen detection

  • Molecular diagnostics for food and agricultural products

We have more than 25 years of experience in molecular biotechnology and have participated in national and international research projects and scientific networks.

We are interested in collaboration with partners working on agrobiodiversity conservation, crop genetic diversity, sustainable agriculture, and food security.
