Climate-adapted lupin for livestock feed and human consumption
About
We are developing a new variety of lupin for agricultural cultivation that has dramatically improved heat and drought tolerance compared to existing plant based protein crops.
At ~40% protein , it is ideally positioned to replace Soy cultivation. Studies on other lupin species have shown that they outperforms soy as a feed for dairy cattle, improve flavor in beef production, and can even reduce methane production, but we need partners to test if all of these hold true for the new species we are working with.
