About
Proposal encompasses the production of bio-based copolymers with high biogenic content and enhanced functionalities. Advanced process technologies will be employed to optimize resource efficiency, including energy and water conservation, catalyst recycling, and by-product valorization. The project will validate material performance in multiple market applications and implement sustainable end-of-life pathways, excluding landfilling and incineration. It will also apply and contribute to the EU SSbD framework for polymer design.
Project will deliver market-ready bio-based copolymers validated at TRL 6-7, with resource-efficient production methods that minimize environmental impact. It will provide insights and recommendations for refining the EU SSbD framework. Additionally, it aims to achieve broader market adoption and increased societal trust in bio-based products.
