Bio-Polymers from Agro-Residues: Safe & Sustainable Design for Advanced Applications
About
We are preparing the proposal on the bio-based polymer production by utilizing alternative agricultural residues, moving beyond traditional lignocellulosic and food waste sources.
-
Biomass feedstock which are selected for their rich composition in term of high valorization potential.
-
Green processing techniques for nanocellulose reinforcement enable eco-friendly and scalable biopolymer production.
-
Development of UV-resistant lignin-based plastics, nanocellulose composites for lightweight applications, and bio-resins for coatings.
-
Full utilization of biomass components, ensuring zero waste
-
Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) Compliance.
The expected outcomes include the development of high-performance biodegradable materials, reduction of microplastics pollution, and creation of new market opportunities in sustainable packaging, construction, and agriculture.
