Our research and innovation project aims to tackle the growing challenge of emerging and persistent pollutants in food and drink production systems. These include chemical residues, packaging-derived contaminants (e.g. PFAS, micro- and nanoplastics), and transformation by-products that are currently under-regulated or not well understood
