About

The CoNSeRT Laboratory (Collaborative Network & Services for Research and Technology) of the University of West Attica (UniWA) is seeking partners to co-develop a Horizon Europe proposal focusing on IoT and AI technologies to optimize agricultural practices, enhance sustainability, and boost productivity.

With a strong track record in applied research and technological innovation, CoNSeRT has participated in and coordinated numerous national and European R&D projects in environmental informatics, digital agriculture, and traceability. Notable projects include:

  • Implementation of an Integrated Traceability System on Animal Products

  • Viability Improvement of Small Ruminant Farms in Crete Using Local Breeds and Sustainable Practices

  • OPTORER PPE – Personalized digital experiences for cultural and rural tourism

  • GENERA – Promoting inclusive and responsible research

  • RESCUER – Enhancing resilience in critical infrastructures

These projects reflect our expertise in:

  • IoT integration for real-time environmental and livestock monitoring

  • Data analytics and AI algorithms for decision support in farming operations

  • Digital traceability systems that ensure transparency across the supply chain

  • User-centered platform design and participatory engagement methods with farmers and stakeholders

Our goal is to collaborate with agritech SMEs, cooperatives, research institutions, and public authorities to develop smart, scalable agricultural systems that align with EU climate and food strategy goals, such as Farm to Fork, Climate, and Zero Pollution.

We are open to joining as a partner or co-coordinator, contributing technical development, pilot design, data analytics, impact assessment, and dissemination.

Let’s build the future of data-driven sustainable agriculture together.
