INTROMAC is a Research Institute of the Extremadura Regional Government (Spain). The centre is aimed to improve the competitiveness of companies within the construction sector, through R&D and innovation activities. It focuses in fundamental areas such as Energy Efficiency, Sustainability, New Materials, Structures, Historical Heritage and Industrial Processes optimization, relying upon specialized researchers and leading testing facilities. Our capacity in the validation of TRL6 to TRL9 prototypes as well as our experience in the management of the EDEA-CICE building innovation and quality centre in Cáceres (http://edeacice.juntaex.es), makes us a strategic partner with the capacity to develop projects aimed at achieving TRL6 or higher not only in the field of construction, but also in other fields.
I am an architect from University of Sevilla, with a master's degree in heritage rehabilitation from University of Madrid. I have been working previously in the private sector of architecture in the development of execution buildings projects. Nowadays I am part of the INTROMAC team, where I work in the research and application technologies to enhance sustainability in the construction sector.
