The Jesús Usón Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre (CCMIJU) is looking to join consortia for the HORIZON-HLTH-2025-01-TOOL-02 call. With experience in international collaborative research, CCMIJU offers multidisciplinary expertise in:

• Development of innovative medical devices

• Bioprinting techniques and biomaterials

• Advanced in vitro and in vivo testing

• Cell culture and biological characterization

Contribution to the call scope:
CCMIJU can contribute to the selection of a secretome-based therapy whose main mechanism of action has been elucidated in in-vitro and/or in-vivo models prior to the start of the proposed work. The selected secretome or its chosen bio-active components (extracellular vesicles, trophic factors, organelles, RNA, proteins, peptides, etc.), including those that are potentially harmful, should have been characterised and its/their therapeutic activity should already have been demonstrated in relevant pre-clinical models.

Our Stem Cell Therapy Unit can provide with a laboratory for cell biology and molecular biology techniques. It is also equipped with two cell culture rooms for the isolation, expansion and  characterization of different cell types. ​
