Connecting the UK's Neuromorphic Computing Ecosystem

This partnering platform has been created alongside the Beyond conventional computing webinar to help organisations build and connect with UK neuromorphic communities, including the UKRI-funded NeuMat, NeuroWare and NeuroSYNC initiatives.

Neuromorphic, or brain-inspired computing, is a highly energy efficient computational architecture. It could become a disruptive alternative to traditional computing methods, which rely heavily on energy-intensive data centres. Neuromorphic computing could be especially advantageous for artificial intelligence (AI) and edge computing applications like robotics and autonomous vehicles, while bringing together expertise in areas such as neuroscience, materials, computer science, electronics and software engineering.
