管道直饮水项目以市政自来水作为原水，通过中央净水机组对水体进行深度过滤、净化处理，去除水中杂质、余氯及有害物质。处理后的优质饮用水，经由食品级不锈钢独立循环管网输送至各家各户终端，出水达到饮用净水标准，可直接饮用。项目广泛应用于居民小区、学校、企事业单位、写字楼等场所，配套智慧在线水质监测系统，实时监控水质状况，管网循环设计有效杜绝二次供水污染问题，省去桶装水搬运、换水的麻烦，为用户提供安全稳定、便捷高效的高品质饮水。 2025年6月，武汉市生态环境局印发《武汉市应用管道直饮水系统碳普惠方法学（试行）》，依托碳普惠机制引导居民选用管道直饮水，节约水资源，减少自来水煮沸、包装饮用水使用、家用净水器制水等场景下的温室气体排放，在提升民生用水品质的同时，赋能城市水务服务提质升级与绿色低碳发展。

The piped direct‑drinking‑water project uses municipal tap water as raw water. Central water‑purification units perform deep filtration and purification to remove impurities, residual chlorine and harmful substances. The treated high‑quality drinking water is supplied to household terminals through independent circulating pipelines made of food‑grade stainless steel and meets the standards for direct consumption. Widely applied in residential communities, schools, enterprises and office buildings, the project is fitted with an intelligent online water‑quality monitoring system for real‑time water‑quality surveillance. Its circulating‑pipeline design effectively prevents secondary water‑supply pollution and saves users from the trouble of handling bottled water, delivering safe, stable and convenient high‑quality drinking water. In June 2025, Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment issued the Trial Methodology for Carbon Incentives of Piped Direct‑Drinking‑Water Systems in Wuhan. Through the carbon‑incentive mechanism, the methodology encourages residents to use piped direct‑drinking water, conserves water resources, and reduces greenhouse‑gas emissions generated by tap‑water boiling, packaged‑water consumption and household water‑purifier operation. It improves people‑oriented water services and promotes the low‑carbon development of urban water utilities.
