Our Solution

More Classifieds Agency closes that gap. We are a centralised, affordable, data-driven platform that connects Kenyan businesses directly with ready-to-buy customers. Our core marketplace, more.co.ke, provides verified business listings that give SMEs a trusted digital presence. Layered on top of it, we offer digital marketing and targeted promotion so businesses can reach the right buyers, not just any buyers. Through More HR, we provide AI-powered talent placement, including a specialised Kenya–GCC pipeline, so growing businesses can staff up. And through More Popote, our nationwide field-agent affiliate network, we onboard SMEs face to face in the markets where they operate, using mobile money and local trust to remove the friction that stops informal businesses from going digital. Together, these solutions take a business from invisible to discoverable, and from discoverable to profitable.

Our field network has proven that boots-on-the-ground onboarding works in the informal economy, and our multi-service model means each business we sign up can grow with us across listings, marketing, and hiring, deepening engagement and lifetime value.

Three trends are converging in Kenya: rapid SME digitisation, mobile-first commerce built on one of the world's most advanced mobile-money ecosystems, and the steady formalisation of the informal economy. The Team

We are led by CEO and CTO Willice Onyango, a full-stack engineering leader with an AI/ML background who has previously built platforms serving over 100,000 users and who holds a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from JKUAT., MSc Criminology and Security Strudies from MKU, MBA from UoP in the USA. He is supported by a leadership team with deep local expertise: a Head of HR with over eight years in international placement and CHRP certification, a Head of Sales with five-plus years driving SME adoption across Nairobi, Mombasa and upcountry markets, a More Popote Manager who has managed more than 200 field agents, and a CPA (K) CFO experienced in startup fundraising, financial modelling and investor reporting.

The Vision

More Classifieds is not just a classifieds platform. It is a business growth engine for Kenyan entrepreneurs, and a foundation for a discoverable, digital SME economy across East Africa. The Ask

We are raising USD 2.5-3MIillion in a seed round to accelerate growth over the next 24months. Use of funds will be split roughly as follows: 10 % to expand the More Popote field network into 5 new counties and onboard 200,000 additional SMEs; 30% to product and engineering, including AI-driven matching, self-serve promotion tools, and mobile-money integration; 45% to sales and marketing to grow paid conversions among existing listed businesses; and 25% to working capital and team hires in finance / operations / customer success. With this capital, we project reaching 1 million businesses on the platform, 100,000 paying customers, and KES 200,000 in annual revenue by 2028, with a clear path to break-even readiness.
