Edmund Lai

Edmund Lai (Dr) is the Chief Marketing Officer at Gallant Venture Ltd (GV), overseeing investment promotion and business development for the group's industrial parks and resorts in Batam and Bintan, Indonesia. He plays a vital role in enhancing sales revenue and establishing strategic partnerships with government agencies, trade associations, and professional service providers.

During his tenure at GV, Edmund has been instrumental in formulating and executing strategies to attract multinational corporations in sectors such as electronics, offshore marine, and food processing. He led the growth of the electronics and electrical sectors within the parks and secured substantial investments from leading manufacturers in the Greater China Region. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Canberra, Australia.
