The Azerbaijan Franchising Center (AFC), as the initiator of the National Franchising Support Program in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, is primarily engaged in consulting and training services in franchising, marketing, corporate governance, and business development. Mr. Elnur Islamov is the Founder and CEO of the Azerbaijan Franchising Center and co-founder of 'Greening Global' and the Franchise Connect Alliance (FCA). With over 20 years of experience in the banking, holding, and NGO sectors, he currently pursues his PhD in Public Administration at Ankara Gazi University, Turkey. He is a certified expert trained by institutions such as GIZ (Germany), WIPO (Copyright & Trademarks), and ILO (Business Planning & Training of Trainers).
Mr. Islamov is the author and visionary behind the Etno Village project—a public-private partnership (PPP) development in Azerbaijan that aims to promote intercultural dialogue, preserve national traditions, foster sustainable tourism, and implement eco-agro innovations. The project also integrates food waste reduction and organic fertilizer production systems using modern restaurant technologies.
He has successfully led over 30 marketing and franchise projects and is the architect of several national initiatives such as the SME Development Model and the National Franchise Support Program. His leadership continues to inspire cross-sector collaboration for peace-building and sustainable development.
