Kenneth K. Y. Poon (HKIA) is an internationally award-winning architect and accredited green building professional, holding LEED AP BD+C and BEAM Pro credentials. Educated at the University of California, Berkeley and Washington University in St. Louis, he brings over 19 years of experience designing and leading an exceptional range of projects, including high-rise towers, hotels, luxury residences, corporate workplaces, elderly homes, and child care facilities.
Kenneth’s design philosophy is rooted in the belief that the finest spaces are those where beauty, performance, and responsibility exist in perfect balance. With a deep understanding of urban challenges, he sees energy efficiency and spatial efficiency not simply as technical goals, but as essential principles for creating environments that are elegant, enduring, and deeply attuned to human life.
Together with his wife, Kenneth co-founded Philia Earth, a multidisciplinary, research-based design practice guided by biblical principles and sustainable values. The firm advances a thoughtful vision for architecture, interior design, and urban planning — one that aspires to elevate everyday living through purposeful, timeless, and environmentally conscious design.
