元素驱动通过自研合成生物平台技术，研发出具有全新结构的环保高性能材料。该材料来源于生物质原料，既拥有传统塑料的性能，也兼具降解性与回收性。基于该新材料技术，元素驱动可以为下游各类应用市场按需提供解决方案，既可以作为传统石油基塑料的绿色环保替代品，也可以作为性能更优质、成本更低的生物基可降解材料应用于相关行业，是真正具有广泛应用空间的新材料。未来，元素驱动环保高性能材料将应用于快递商超、餐饮、农业、纺织、家居家电、汽车、人工智能、低空经济等各大领域。
元素生物基高性能新材料已经具备量产的能力，位于浙江建德的项目工厂正在建设中，项目一期预计 2025 年2月试生产，投产后将年产 3 万吨元素新材料，预计产值 6 亿，未来计划在 5-10 年内完成四期项目建设，打通上下游产业链一体化布局，形成生物基高性能材料的产业化集群。
中国碳排放的近 40%由工业造成，生物基材料产品全生命周期的二氧化碳排放量远小于石油基材料，它符合我国双碳目标各项政策。2023 年，国家进一步强调非粮生物基材料的重要性，国家工信部、发改委、财政部、生态部等多部门联合发布《加快非粮生物基材料创新发展三年行动方案》，当下，全世界都在积极研发高性能、低成本的生物基材料。元素新材料在技术上具有世界领先性，是我国占领全球生物材料技术和产业高地的必然选择。
