Baltic Photonics 2026 MATCHMAKING
Baltic Photonics 2026 brings together experts from the photonics ecosystem, semiconductor industry, research institutions, and high-tech companies to foster cross-sector collaboration and innovation. Over the years, the event has explored a wide range of photonics applications, including medicine, micromachining, optical communication, space and defence technologies, and more.
In 2026, Baltic Photonics will focus on semiconductors under the theme “Semiconductors: From Advanced Photonics to Space & Defence Technologies” - highlighting a rapidly evolving field that plays a critical role in global technological advancement and security. The event will explore emerging innovations, advanced manufacturing processes, and strategic opportunities at the intersection of photonics and semiconductor technologies. Particular attention will be given to applications in space and defence, including photonic chips, high-performance sensing systems, secure communication technologies, and resilient semiconductor supply chains shaping the future of next-generation electronics.
The event will take place over two days:
Day 1 – September 24, 2026
Conference - International speakers will share insights into the latest research, industry trends, and technological advancements. Separate registration is required via a dedicated conference website, which will be launched by the end of May.
Day 2 – September 25, 2026
Participants will take part in B2B matchmaking sessions, company visits, and networking opportunities, allowing them to build partnerships and explore collaboration possibilities within Lithuania’s photonics ecosystem. The event will conclude with a networking party.
All registered conference participants willing to visit Laser Micromachining Cluster TOOLAS members https://toolas.eu/our-companies/ should send requests via email: info@toolas.eu for arrangement of the onsite visits on 25 September 2026.
