Ask Foods was established by 3 brothers in 2008 and they developed a factory in 2010.The company currently employs 157 people and this number reaches over 400 during peak season. Ask Foods is located in the village of Livoq in the Gjilan district in Eastern Kosovo. It is a clean and ecological location which helps Ask Foods maintain its modern, contemporary and environmental business standards. The juices are rich in natural vitamins, minerals and are full of natural sugars. The juices use carefully selected fresh fruit and nothing else. They are prepared with no artificial colours, flavors, aromas, preservatives and NO ADDED SUGAR. Methodology We started the company with a vision of producing premium quality processed products from only the best fruit and vegetables. Kosovo as a country has vast natural recourses that are unused. Wild fruits and berries are in abundance as well as very fertile land on which to cultivate different fruit and vegetables. Technology We use modern food processing technology in line with traditional food recipes to get the best quality products. We produce a range of all natural products with no additives, preservatives, artificial colours, aromas or flavors. We are expanding our production lines every year due to continued interest and growing demand in the products we produce. Employment Conditions of Workers Our employees are all registered and have regular employment contracts. Therefore we pay all the taxes and the contribute for our employees. Moreover, they also possess certificates for safety and protection at work. On the other hand, seasonal employees work for around 3 – 4 months and have designated work contracts for the timeline they work. Everything functions according to the laws in act in Kosovo. As a company, we have cooperation with more than 600 farmers. Together with our professional staff we help farmers with agrotechnical needs and advices for the treatment of fruits and vegetables. In addition, we support farmers with agricultural harvesting mechanism and in turn we obtain fruits and vegetables from them.
